Church House Inn Churchstow
Oozing with cosy character since 1250. Inglenook fireplace, log burners & beams a plenty, with legends of smuggling monks and tunnels down in the well in the main entrance, leading to the Church and beyond. Just 2 miles from Kingsbridge, 3 miles from Bantham beach, 5 miles from Hope Cove, 6 miles from Salcombe. Located on the main road A379 from Kingsbridge to Plymouth.
We have 4 newly converted en-suite B & B rooms, built round the restrictions of a Grade 2 listing. All perfectly formed for short breaks. Some parts date back to 13th Century, with low ceilings & doors, so please mind your head! Room Only & Breakfast included rates as well as 1 night minimum stays available.
Our own on site free parking too!
Families welcome and dog friendly tables available in the bar area. Sorry no dogs allowed in our en-suite rooms.
We are passionate about using the most seasonal and local of produce from the rich abundance of land and sea that surrounds us to bring you enticing dishes to savour. And constantly looking to reduce our carbon footprint.
Ideal for all life’s celebrations, intimate days away, friend & family gatherings, celebrations, Wedding gatherings and more. In addition we have two outside dining areas, our patio with Beach Huts & a Secret Garden available for private use.
We have a range of dining options: Intimate tables for two, four & six. A private dining room in the Snug for up to 10 people. The restaurant dining room for groups of 10 – 50. Our sun-filled conservatory room accommodating sit down dining for up to 40 or an informal buffet for up to 50 people

Glen and Suzi are consummate hosts. They put on an amazing special celebration for 14 members of our close family. The food was fantastic, especially the fish dishes. And the service was super attentive yet unobtrusive. Real ninjas. We regularly eat at the Church House Inn and are never disappointed. Can highly recommend.
