Join the South Devon National Landscape on Sunday 8th June 2pm – 5pm at East Soar Farm in Malborough.
We’ll be celebratinng Open Farm Sunday and finding out all about our Life on the Edge project.
There will be lots to do for all the family includig crafts, farm walks, vintage tractors, bug hunting, stories, games, refreshments and more.
Some activities will be going on throughout the afternoon, whilst others will be happening at specific times. The events are free and suitable for all ages.
Storytelling with Henry Everitt (20 minutes) at 3.30pm and 4.30pm
Bug Hunting (30 minutes) – explore the meadows with the Life on the Edge team at 2.30pm and 4pm
Meet the Farmer (15 minutes) – find out more about how the farm is being managed by the tenant and National Trust in a nature friendly ay at 3pm
Drop in anytime for lots of inect and farm themed games and activities including “Marvellous Meadow Hats”, insect bookmarks, insect an flower crafts, “Meet the Moths”, a letterbox trail and “Farm Bingo”.
Please park in the signed National Trust car park (charges apply, members free) at East Soar. There is a short walk to the farm.
